About the course:

Relevant for Teaching Assistants working in Primary, Special and Secondary education across all age ranges, encompassing special educational needs and emotional vulnerabilities, and looking to gain recognition of qualities expected within this role.

 

It is relevant for anyone aspiring to be a teaching assistant, and working as a team to support learning for children of all ages.

Through this Apprenticeship, the Teaching Assistant can gain

Recognition of possessing the knowledge, skills and behaviors as set in the Apprenticeship standard for the L3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.

As an optional element, the completion of the L3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

The opportunity to develop and achieve a level 2 functional skills in Maths and English if the required level 2 equivalent has not been achieved.
